Infrared Sauna
Heat that reaches you, not just the air around you.
Thirty minutes of full-spectrum infrared. A deeper, more productive sweat at a temperature you can actually relax in, and one of the simplest recovery habits you can build.

30 min
Full-spectrum infrared
What it is
Not a hot box. A different kind of heat.
A traditional sauna heats the air and waits for that hot air to heat you, which is why it has to get punishing before you feel much of anything. An infrared sauna skips that step. It uses infrared light to warm your body directly, the same comfortable warmth you feel from the sun on a cool day, without the harsh, breath-catching air of a conventional sauna.
The result is a deeper, more productive sweat at a temperature you can actually settle into. Thirty minutes in an infrared sauna is a completely different experience from thirty minutes in a hot box, and most people who think they dislike saunas have only ever met the hot box.
What happens in your body
Three things, in order.
Infrared heat sets off the same responses your body uses to cool itself. Put to work on purpose, they are the whole reason a session feels the way it does.
01
The heat reaches you directly
Infrared penetrates the skin rather than only warming the air, so your core temperature rises gently and evenly instead of being forced up by scorching air.
02
Your body responds
Circulation increases, blood vessels widen, your heart rate lifts, and you begin a deep sweat. Everything the body does to cool itself, now working in your favor.
03
You come out reset
Heart rate settles, muscles loosen, and the nervous system shifts toward rest. The calm tends to stay with you for hours, not minutes.
Why people use it
What a regular sauna habit may support.
None of this happens dramatically in one visit. Like every recovery tool here, the sauna rewards consistency more than intensity.
◐
Recovery and muscle relief
Heat draws blood into tired muscles, part of how the body clears the byproducts of hard training and eases the stiffness that follows it. A session after a heavy day helps your body recover on its own schedule.
≋
A deep, detoxifying sweat
Because the heat reaches you directly, you reach a real sweat at a lower, more comfortable temperature than a traditional sauna. Sweating is one of the body's natural ways of clearing what it does not need.
✦
Stress and nervous system
Thirty minutes of enveloping heat pulls the nervous system out of high alert and toward rest. Most people describe the back half of a session as the first time all day their shoulders actually drop.
☾
Deeper sleep
Recovery happens while you sleep. The natural rise and fall of your core temperature after heat is one of the body's cues to wind down, which is why an evening session can help you settle into deeper rest.
◇
Circulation and skin
As your body works to cool itself, circulation increases and blood moves closer to the surface. Better circulation is associated with healthier, clearer-looking skin, which is often where regular users notice it first.
♥
Passive cardio
Your heart rate climbs during a session much as it would on a light walk, which is why infrared heat is often called passive cardio. Research on regular sauna use has associated it with meaningful cardiovascular benefits over time.
Why the sauna matters
We chose the equipment so you do not have to.
Not every infrared sauna is built the same, and the difference is one you feel. The Recovery Lounge was outfitted with these differences in mind, so every session you book is in a sauna chosen to do the work properly. You show up, step in, and let the heat do the rest.
Full spectrum
Near, mid, and far infrared, each reaching a little differently.
Low EMF
Built to keep exposure low for a long, frequent habit.
Quality build
Even, reliable heat, session after session.
How to use it
Built to fit into a real week.
Pair it with cryotherapy
Sauna and cryo work beautifully back to back, in either order, depending on whether you want to finish warm and loose or sharp and awake. Contrast is one of the oldest recovery tools there is.
Two to four times a week
That is where regular users find their rhythm. A session runs about thirty minutes, and with a founding membership you can come as often as you like for one flat rate.
Good to know
Common questions.
How is this different from a regular sauna?
A traditional sauna heats the air until the air heats you. Infrared warms your body directly, so you get a deeper sweat at a lower, more comfortable temperature.
How hot does it get, and is it comfortable?
Far more comfortable than a conventional sauna. Because the heat reaches you rather than the air, the room stays breathable while you still work up a real sweat.
How often should I use it?
Two to four sessions a week is a common rhythm. Like the rest of the studio, the sauna does more as a regular habit than as an occasional visit.
Can I pair it with cryotherapy?
Yes. Sauna and cryo work well back to back, in either order, depending on whether you want to finish warm or finish sharp.
